HughesNet® service is available in the contiguous U.S. with an unobstructed view of the southern sky, it is not available in Alaska & Hawaii, and its usage is subject to the Fair Access Policy. Actual speeds vary based on the amount of traffic on the Internet, content on a particular Website, or by the overall performance and configuration of your computer. Stated speeds and uninterrupted use of service are not guaranteed. Actual speeds will likely be lower than speed indicated during peak hours.

HughesNet Service Plans require a minimum service commitment of 24-months. If you terminate service prior to the expiration of the commitment, a Termination Fee, as described below, will be owed and charged to your credit or debit card on file.

If you cancel service within 30 days of activation:
Home, Pro, and ProPlus subscribers may return the modem and outdoor transmitter to Hughes ® for a refund. Once this equipment has been received by Hughes, you will be refunded a total of $200. Hughes will provide instructions on how to de-install and return the equipment. Returned equipment must be in good condition. You will not receive a refund for installation charges or other fees. You are not required to return, and Hughes is not obligated to de-install, the antenna, mount, or any cables. If you elect to have the complete system or the antenna, mount and any cables professionally de-installed you will be responsible for all de-installation charges.
Small Office and Business Internet subscribers may return the modem and radio transmitter to HughesNet for a refund. Once this equipment has been received by HughesNet you will be refunded a total of $200. HughesNet will provide instructions on how to de-install and return the equipment. Returned equipment must be in good condition. You will not receive a refund for installation charges or other fees. You are not required to return, and Hughes is not obligated, to de-install the antenna, mount, or any cables. If you elect to have the complete system or the antenna, mount and any cables professionally de-installed, you will be responsible for all de-installation charges.
If you cancel after 30 days from date of activation, but before end of initial 24-month commitment:
Home, Pro, and ProPlus subscribers will be charged a $400 fee for the HughesNet equipment and installation, plus a $400 Service Termination Fee. Subscribers may return the modem and radio transmitter to Hughes ® for a refund. Once the equipment has been received by Hughes, you will be refunded a total of $200. Hughes will provide instructions on how to de-install and return the equipment. Returned equipment must be in good condition. You will not receive a refund for installation charges or other fees. You are not required to return, and Hughes is not obligated to de-install, the antenna, mount, or any cables. YOU AGREE AND ACCEPT THAT HUGHES NETWORK SYSTEMS, LLC (HUGHES) IS AUTHORIZED TO USE YOUR CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD FOR THE PURPOSE OF: (1) CHARGING YOU FOR THE UP-FRONT FEES REQUIRED TO RECEIVE HUGHESNET, INCLUDING PAYMENT FOR EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION; (2) CREATING A HUGHES/HUGHESNET CUSTOMER ACCOUNT; (3) CHARGING YOU FOR YOUR MONTHLY SERVICE FEES AND ANY EQUIPMENT OR INSTALLATION FEES THAT MAY APPLY; AND (4) CHARGING ANY APPLICABLE EARLY TERMINATION FEES.
Home networking equipment is not included with your HughesNet system. For network setup, support, and configuration, contact your network hardware manufacturer and/or operating system software developer (Hughes is not responsible for home network configuration or management).
Please note that all computers on a home network will be sharing a single connection. Simultaneous use of high-bandwidth applications by multiple users may result in degradation of download and surfing speeds, and are subject to the Fair Access Policy.
